More info on David Hess' movie release

On more note to add: As the Producer on the movie, I got a chance to work closely with David and the director on a daily basis, and I want to let his fans know that he is a wonderful gentleman, a whole world away from the characters he normally plays in the movies. It's a testament to his acting ability that the roles are much different from his real character, which is very friendly and generous. He really gave 110% to our struggling production, and made it what it is -- we owe him a lot. His son, Jesse, was also just as generous as his dad.
Also--I had the good fortune to hear some of David's more recent music on a demo he made, and let me tell you that it is really very complex and extremely accomplished. I had no idea that he was so capable of creating such excellent quality music. Highly recommended!

The movie starring David Hess, "Nutcracker: An American Nightmare" is now available on DVD as part of the box set "Demented Deviants" and should be in every Best Buy in the US. If it's not on the shelf, please ask them to put it there! And there will also be a separate release of the film by itself, scheduled for rental at Blockbuster Video as of early Jan. 2007. This exclusive release will also include several extras, including 2 music videos by the singer Julee Cruise (of "Twin Peaks" fame) who contributed 2 original songs to the movie, as well as a short "making of" doc and a couple of unusual surprises as well. Please look for it to arrive in Blockbuster around the first week of Jan.
